Tips To Make Your Business Digitizing Project A Success

In today’s fast-paced business world, customers, suppliers and several other stakeholders expect faster and better responsiveness from your business. Failure to deliver such performance will certainly drag you down, while your competitors will gain a more powerful position in the marketplace. One of the best strategies for dealing with this challenge is digitizing of the enterprise, whereby most tasks that are done on paper and usually uses up a lot of time can be performed faster, better and simpler. In this article, we will look into a few tips that you can follow to make your digitization project a successful one.

Pick and chose

As great as it is, implementation costs associated with digitization of a modern workplace can be pretty high and if implemented wrongly, they will generate more expenditure than value, reducing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the enterprise. This is why it’s important to figure out exactly which functions you are going to digitizing by evaluating the performance and the need for improvement of each and every department, rather than carrying out the transformation wholesale. Start with a single business process which will help you assess the effectiveness of the investment after a while, so that you can decide whether or not to adopt the same strategy for other processes as well.

The right team

Getting the right people involved is crucial for the success of an endeavor of this scale. If you are taking the very first steps towards digitizing your business, you will need to find Oracle license negotiators, whose experience and knowledge regarding the field will help you save thousands of dollars on obtaining license for software such as Oracle.

Also, put together a cross-functional team with representatives from all departments of the organization so that the project remains transparent at all times and views of all are taken into consideration. If you have already taken the primary steps and are now looking to enhance your digital capabilities, a cost factor such as an Oracle license audit can generate some serious costs in the long-run, which might hinder the efficiency of the business. Getting the right consultant professionals involved will help you save mammoth amounts of company money which can instead be spent on making the operations bigger and better.

Employee training

The transition from a traditional way of doing business to a whole new system can be difficult on your employees, especially during the first few weeks after the changeover. In time, they will learn everything about the systems and use them cleverly to add more value to the company and the end customer, but till then, the right level of training and information must be provided to make their jobs easier. Involve an industry expert who can teach the employees all the advantages of digitization and just how much more productive they can get by utilizing these capabilities effectively.

C For Commercials And C For Cricket.

Limit to everything is very necessary, be it a personal habit or a professional skill. We all have examined waving flags of products during cricket matches, logos and punch lines on cricketer’s T-shirt. Moreover, cricketers also get endorsements, appear physically in advertisement and are paid in millions. This is where the limit should be placed, why? One ad, one or two endorsements are more than enough for any sportsperson.

In majority of countries this has been witnessed that Sportsperson is everything but a sportsperson. Plenty of endorsements, uncountable commercials and ongoing marketing activities give them enough money and allow them to stop performing in ground as they are getting enough money out of it. In general opinion of people a sportsperson must be paid for the core job i.e. sports not commercials. This should be understood by everyone that no matter basketball player, or a cricketer try to limit them to sports, no issues in allowing some marketing pay cheques. Making them their bread and butter, is a mistake for them for the country which they are representing.

Don’t give them enough options to earn, otherwise focus on core occupation will be lost in no time. This can be reconfirm from so many previous incidences, discussing incidences in detail will not be a feasible choice, but yes it can be easily reconfirmed how a sportsperson uses his/her fame (which is a blessing of sports they play) in order to get commercials and earn from other resources. Not pointing out negatively but, this needs to be understand if we won’t sketch a fine line between use and misuse; everyone will start to misuse. So much so, it’s for the legacy of cricket and any other sport to maintain the dignity of what he/she is doing. Don’t need to think about it so much, let’s discuss few names: Don Bradman, Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Sydney Barnes, Zaheer Abbas and the list can go on and on. Reason for mentioning some name is they are legends and are still respected because of their attitude and loyalty towards their job (that was cricket). It doesn’t mean they never appeared in any commercial or haven’t received any endorsements but yes there was a clear limit at that time. Nowadays sportspersons are earning from other resources so well, that they are not performing in ground. After all cricket pants in Australia is there job like: x is an accountant earning from this job, y is an architect earning from there same must be the case of a cricketer he/she should earning only from there (other stuffs are secondary not primary job).

Cricket is being followed like a religion in so many regions, one must not disappoint his/her audience. A Sportsperson is a hero for everyone, respectful and dignified in my glance nobody loves the game they love the person who is playing the game, because he/she is making it look good. cricket-pants
